Welcome to the world of Kastle Kelm Miniatures! I was really lucky to visit the Thame dolls house fair this month and meet up with Mike and Jenny of Kastle Kelm miniatures. I have been a fan of their amazing work for quite a few years now and I am lucky to own a small collection of their work, including a wonderful sculpture of Grotbags! What I love about the Kelm's is their passion for creating miniatures that are unusual, enchanting and at times created with a great sense of humour! There is always something new to see at each of their fairs and everything is made with love and a sprinkle of magic! With a just a few simple items you can create a fabulous love wreath. First of all gather some materials. You will need sticks, a wreath ring, red and pink ribbons (the colours of love), string, lace, glue and items to decorate it. I used felt hearts, gem stones, glitter, bells and straw stars and a lotus seed head which has many connections with love. But you can use old photos, buttons, dried flowers, what ever you want! To make a pentagram star I cut 5 sticks all the same length. I made sure these were slightly longer than my wreath ring. Pentagram star stage 1 I then arranged the pentagram shape on my wreath.
