One of my creations two witches stirring a cauldron making some dastardly potion, or are they just using up yuletide veggies in a stew? Happy belated new year to you all. Well Christmas came and went in a flash. I hope you all had a wonderful yuletide! I cannot believe we are already half way through January! My decorations are all packed away and hiding back in the loft and the last of the festive fair has been eaten, I feel finally I have entered 2020! Lol! Now time to eat slightly healthier foods, well I don't like to over do it lol! With lighter evenings slowly returning I look forward to stretching my legs a little, getting out about for gentle walks and little adventures to blog about! But in the mean time with the weather being cold, rainy and possibly snowy between now and Spring I shall be doing a few Witchy craft tutorials to keep you busy on those stay in doors days and posting things to look forward to. So please pop by my blog or subscribe for updates, see a butto...

She delivers presents on Epiphany Eve and is very similar to the Saint Nicolas/Krampus traditional of giving good children gifts and that naughty children get punish by receiving coal! There is a lovely article on the website listed below Befana images which I highly recommend reading. Festive witches appear in many countries and on old postcards   Befana Dolls for sale in Italy. https://www.ottawaitalians.com/Heritage/befana.htm

I had all these fabulous articles and ideas for my blog this year but with studying for my diploma and then dealing with the grief of loosing both my Dog and my Dad life has taken me on a bit of a journey I didn't plan! But fear not all those plans and ideas are all saved in my magic note book and as soon as I am back on an even keel I shall get back to exploring the world of witches, goblins, ghouls and ghosties and get posting again! I have managed to find time, in between studying, to settle down and watch series two of Britannia on Sky Atlantic, which I am loving! I loved the first series and some of the 2nd series was filmed at Puzzlewood which we visited last month, so we are loving playing the game 'spot where we stood last month' lol! Apart from loving the 'strange brew' way that Britannia is filmed which in itself is unusual TV viewing. At times it makes you feel like ...
