Select Cases of Conscience touching Witches and Witchcraft by John Gaule

Whilst doing a bit of research on line came across this fab digital copy of the select Cases of Conscience Touching Witches and Witchcraft by John Gaule. 

Though John Gaule was not, in modern terms, a fan of witches and Witchcraft he was publicly very sceptical of 'The Witchfinder General' Matthew Hopkins. Especially and his methods of swimming witches!  John Gaule's book and public speaking helped to turn the tide against Matthew Hopkins and the dreadful persecution of witches.
