The Magic of Yarrow
I am creating a small wild flower bed in my garden to help the bees and butterflies. Whilst I was planting them I noticed in the packet of seeds that it contained Yarrow. This is a plant I regularly used to see growing along country roads as a child. Sometimes if I am lucky I still do see it on my walks though sadly not as abundant.
Yarrow is mentioned a lot in folklore and is especially connected with witches and Witchcraft being often known as 'Devils plaything' amongst other interesting names. Often used in rituals involving love, courage or healing.
