Found this interesting article about witches on the British Library website with a fantastic link to several books and pamphlets including The Discovery of Witchcraft by Reginald Scot 1584 and Witchcraft pamphlet:A Rehearsal both Strange and True, 1579. Which the above image above comes from. The British Library online website has a fabulous online catalogue of interesting subjects. If you ever get the chance I highly recommend going to the British Library in person. They often have interesting exhibitions, I was lucky enough to go there a few years ago to see the 'Harry Potter, a history of magic' exhibition . There are still images online which I highly recommend searching for as they had some terrific magical artifacts on display.
