Picture one.

I cut some lengths of raffia the same length as my broom. Depending on broom handle size will depend on the amount of raffia required. It's a bit trial and error at this stage.

I folded my raffia in half.

Picture three.

I surrounded my stick with the raffia making sure there wasn't too many gaps. At this stage you can add or remove bristles. I then secured into place with hemp string.

Taking some scissors I trimmed all the folded loops. This is optional you might prefer to keep it looped.
