Witchy Wednesday, water Witches!

Witches of water!

Welcome back to Witchy Wednesday. Firstly thank you for all your kind messages and great feedback for my 13 Day's till Halloween, I am so glad you enjoyed it. It was nice to do something fun and not be too serious this Halloween. I promise to do some more 'Kat Make' tutorials soon. On that note I hope you all had a wonderful Samhain/Halloween. It definitely seemed a lot more popular this year lots of parties, public events and trick or treaters. We had a quiet one at home this year but it was nice to spend some time decorating the house, having homemade pumpkin soup and catching up on watching classic horror movies! Of course just because Halloween is over does not mean that we are over the spooky season! With the darker nights closing in and the Winter Solstice approaching this is definitely the time to light candles and sit around fires telling tales of ghosts, ghouls, monsters and magic! ✨

To kick off Witchy Wednesday being back again today is all about Water Witches, mermaids and water spirits. Those creatures that lurk in ponds, streams, rivers, lakes, the sea and even wells! From old hags to beautiful enchantresses! Beware when near water that she,or he, does not drag you to your watery doom! ๐Ÿ’ฆ

Some folklore stories and articles about History can be quite scary and disturbing and may have some adult content. So I would always advise visiting, reading and viewing any links before showing or reading to younger children.
