Sadly not this time! Pardoning Witches in Great Britain.
Update on the petition from January to pardon people who were wrongly accused of Witchcraft in Great Britain. Please visit
https://witchkraftingwithkat.blogspot.com/2024/01/witch-wednesday.html to see my original article. The petition closed at 13,157 signatures.
Well the sad news is we are a long way off from clearing their names. Unlike Scotland our Government is not so proactive for the rights of those wrongly accused of Witchcraft which is not recognised anymore as a real thing! Though they did review the petition and gave this response.

Lets hope over time people will come to see them as victims of discrimination not the villains they have often been portrayed as! Lets hope sometime in the not too distant future the victims will one day have their reputations restored and that their stories will help stop such tragedies happening again.
I will keep an eye out for further petitions and post any information here! If any of you are organising anything please do get in touch I am always happy to post information here on my blog. I make no money via my blog and ask no money to add a mention! ☺️
The most important thing in my view is to keep the stories and history of witches and folklore alive by sharing information both in form of stories, real facts and through arts and crafts. I hope my postings inspire you to learn more about Witches, Witchcraft and folklore and they encourage you to explore beyond the reality of what is deemed normal.
