Charlie Cooper's Myth Country

Image
I am really looking forward to seeing this new upcoming series in October.  Charlie Cooper's Myth Country sees the 35-year-old Bafta award winner exploring some of the UK's more eccentric myths and legends, from Black Shuck, a giant dog that's said to roam the hills of East Anglia, to UFOs over Wiltshire. Though he'd always had an interest in all things folkloric, Cooper reveals that it was the making of 'This Country' that really fuelled his passion for these agrarian myths. Charlie Cooper's Myth Country begins at 9pm on Friday 4th October on BBC Three. https://www.bbc.co.uk/tv/bbcthree

Making a spooky Halloween pumpkin tag by Kat Hazelton.

πŸŽƒMaking a simple spooky Halloween pumpkin tag!πŸŽƒ by Kat Hazelton of Witchkrafting with Kat! πŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒ This is a really simple way to make a Halloween gift tag and perfect for using up scraps of paper and for recycling cardboard.  To make the main part of my tag I used a Sizzix Bigz bookmark die and cardboard packaging left over from a well known delivery company! (Hint Amazon! πŸ˜†)  There are many tag and gift label dies on the market if however you don't own a die cutting machine you can also hand cut a tag shape from card or easier still buy some precut tags from a craft shop. I know as I type Hobbycraft in the UK sell them as do other craft shops. The pumpkin/Jack 'o' Lantern shapes were cut using metal dies I purchased a while ago from Ebay.  The cardstock used to cut them from my stash of little scrap pieces, possibly Sizzix cardstock but I am not 100% certain but very similar in thickness and texture.   Once I cut all my pumpkin shapes I glu...
