My visit to Tim Burtons Exhibition in London
Me at the Exhibition.
I hope you all enjoyed Halloween I cannot believe how quickly Halloween suddenly arrived and has gone again! This year seems to be whizzing by quicker than a Witches broom with a V8 engine! π Like many people in the UK we had the week off but instead of staying away we enjoyed a few trips out including several woodland walks to spot mushrooms and we also ventured into London to the Design Museum to see the Tim Burton Exhibition.
Costumes from Sleepy Hollow.
What a fabulous Exhibition! A really lavish display of Tim Burton's work over the years including doodles, sketches, paintings, animation models, sculptures, props and costumes some of which have never been on show before. This exhibition really had a lot of exhibits, my photos only shows a little of what is there to see. Being a Tim Burton fan since I was a kid this exhibition did not disappoint and in fact there were items there I did not expect to see but I won't reveal all of those! I would instead highly recommend you give a visit in person if you can, I especially recommend it to anyone studying art and film making.
Some of Tim Burton's art and sculpture.
Headless horseman costume from Sleepy Hollow.
Mars Attacks!
The exhibition is ticketed so you need to pre-book unless you are a member. Please visit their website link for more details and to see their opening times. As I type the exhibition is fully booked until mid November but is open until April 2025.
